I've dreamed a dream for many years,
   i've asked My Lord above;
To someday find that special girl,
   the one I'm dreamin' of.

There's been some people in my life'
   a few to come and go;
But never once I found my love,
   'til you I came to know!

You walked into my life one day,
   you caught me unaware;
You smiled at me your gorgeous smile,
   to steal my heart right there!

We hit it off though rather quick,
   I knew right from the start;
Though some have tried, you'd be the one,
   to soften this 'ole heart!

Two broken hearts both mended now,
   two shattered dreams repaired;
With special kind of love so strong,
   too few could 'ere compare!

A gift from God, an answered prayer,
   a miracle it seems;
Since now in life I've got my girl-
   that Angel in my Dreams!!
