The sheets, I folded
after I get out of bed.
Sigh, another day of being a wife.
Oh, how I love life!

Obligated to make breakfast
for my partner while watching a weather forecast
and me holding a knife.
Oh, how I love life!

He, meeting his friends every night.
I would attempt to start a fight
for I wish to end up as his ex-wife.
Oh, how I love life!

Between the lines of love and hatred,
you’re the only one I tolerated.
This scene, for us, is rife.
Wow, this is true-to-life!
