I'm not titling this
I know what I want
But gravity has served its purpose,
teaching us about the weight we feel when someone holds our heart
I see a bridge
across the water, catching lights inside your eyes
I feel connected by the dots
from constellations in your smile
I know it's right
I know it's wrong
I know I've felt it all along
I know I can't go on without you
But I know I don't quite belong
And yes, we're strangers
I'm a mouse
In my mind, I'm still playing house
I've seen the future on replay
Changing while I watch from my couch
I saw the light
inside your eyes, just laughing at my lack of life
And maybe I don't have it right,
but I'll at least smile, tonight
