ONE GLASS
Chardonnay nights
blur my thoughts
to a lesser reality
of a long week
Chilled to perfection
slightly sweet for me
room temperature
and extra dry for you
ONE GLASS, only one
to buzz my head
yet my face tingles
on glass two
Tolerance level
achieved to be sure
at home in my space
red & sleepy eyed.
So true for me... all I can handle is one glass.
