May 2016
stick me inside a cyclone
at least the outside will match the in
The walls, they're crowding in.
crumbling over my head and i'm
s t r e t c h e d
thin holding them all up

i almost let myself go
burst into tears but then forced them back in
came downstairs and apologized, said
'i needed to eat something'
'it's just the situation stressing me out'
i can never let you know

The walls, they're crowding closer.

i feel squeezed and pressed, suffocate
my throat closes, my eyes twitch
i'm awake as i'm asleep
and you marvel at how i manage to hold it all together
ha! i don't

All the walls are crumbling in

eventually, something's gotta give
Hey stress? Would you mind going on summer vacation early? You've been working for a solid 6 months straight and I think we could both use a break from one another.
