As the world is spinning left

I am running right

As fast as these feet can carry me

In the hopes I might

Reverse the spin that it's in

And get back some of life

I have lost along the way

I would love to find

With plenty of traction

As these shoes are new

Well aware an old slick pair

Never would they do

To counter act the years of spinning

The day this world took flight

With motion moving to the left

And mine fast to the right
