you are exactly who you think you are

in the middle of the night

in your childhood home

in the reflection of your mirror

in the middle of a fight

in the middle of love

and in the midst of chaos.

at your favourite bookstore

in someone's arms

in prayer

when you fall in love

and when you fall apart.

during your dying breath

you are exactly who you think you are

always.
