My feet are worn,
My lungs are tired.
My whole body,
Is going haywire.

It's hard to breathe,
I don't want to believe.
My heart is beating fast,
It's becoming harder to grasp.

So lost in thought,
Of what time would've brought.
This can't be goodbye,
We've only just said hi.

But I know I'll see you tonight,
Right when I fall asleep.
And when I wake up,
This will only be a dream.
