Pain
The ticking of the clock, the tears stain her cheeks, and memories fade away
And now
She reaches into the dark, searching for the heart
That made her feel whole again
But
With exploration still raw, love fell to the floor and love spills out again
So you think that nightime will heal
And so you think that love ain't the deal
But inside you still feel
His love
And time just goes and time really knows
That the end of the line
Is just the beginning of hurt
So you think nightime will heal
And so you think that love ain't the deal
But inside you still feel
His love
I really like how Roger Waters sings, and that's how I'm trying to portray these words.
