I do not pray for I don’t know
if God is real or not.
Instead I send a prayerful wish
to the fallen stars.
They bring my wish back down to earth
with their blueish hues
and in their dust they like to say,
“My dear, you have already made
that wish today.”
This star speaks true for that I did
make my second wish a replicate
for when I wish
I try so hard to receive that which I desire.
So in the end I guess it’s true
that my prayer to a God
whom I don’t recognize
is a wish to a star that I do know.
