I wrote you a long time ago,
A letter so short yet so true.
Knowing how much I care for you.
Lead pencil with scented stationery,
Things I seldom used fully.
You were so sweet and kind,
Caring, and loving, I can't define.
That’s why I created a letter out of my mind.
I can feel the beating of my heart,
I can sense that love wants to get out.
You are my first true love, no one can break it apart.
Years have passed and we're far away,
But the feelings I have been never blown away,
Nurtured by time, even on a stormy day.
A love letter may seem not to be the perfect catch,
But hope this one will forever last,
That one day, someday, I will find you,
And give this letter I hid for years without even a scratch.
