Cry Baby
They tell me I will feel differently
Eventually, hearing your voice won't
Feel like a necessity
Locking eyes from across the room
Assuming this is all a dream, waiting
To awake so my life may resume
Telling myself to stop crying
Trying to shove it all down, praying
It only leaks out through my rhyming
For WY
Short and sweet.
"All you do is cry. You cry when I'm here. You cry when I leave. You cry when you're mad. That's all you do."
Cry Baby - Melanie Martinez
