Simple Man I

by jake-meizell

I am a simple man I follow the path the universe leads me, the path that resists the leasts I am a simple man I swim up stream I need to reach her mouth Let the water smooth the years from my feet, let the stream wash the old blood away Cool water is the cure for my hot head, all words are kindling Even in summer leaves fall from trees
