I thought I could avoid you
at 2 am

But your voice echoed in my head
and with it came the memories that we shared.

At 3 am
I knew I was lost
bewitching hour
and you had already placed your curse
a thousand years of sleepless nights
haunted by your hallucinated poltergeist.

(he sounds and smells like you)

At 4 am
I'll play our song
the one you badly sang along.

At 5 am
when the sun begins to rise
I'll finally be able to shut my
eyes.
