I've come to realize that
home isn't always the place with the welcome mat at the front door & cookies being made in the oven
or the suburban home with the white picket fence
or the cozy city apartment surrounded by lights & magic
but home is an idea or feeling you get
when around certain people
a house is only a place to live,
but a home is so much more
and suddenly I look around & realize I'm home
