Jan 2015
I fell inside a well today,
I stood there looking up.
There was the top,
A circle of light
Above my head.
Struck with sudden disorientation,
I drop to my knees.
Sinking into the mud,
Could I just stay here?
Become apart of the stone in these walls,
Why can't I grow here in the dark?
Like the mold under the kitchen sink.
Is the dark so bad?
I do love it's musty smell,
It calms my nerves,
Makes me smile...
But instead I just climb out.
