              beautiful and proud
              reflecting on nights water
              is tomorrow's swan

              the river makes no sound
              in a timeless space

              whistles of her wings
              slicing through the cool waves
              stillness of the swan

              I watch from the shore
              her struggle to stay afloat
              an attacking swan
