learning language
pictures in colour

a plateau for rest
the snaking path upwards

a spiral track
rock and boulder strewn

tired traveller
succumbs to sweet sleep

Flirting with the sky,
Mars winks as the blue moon drifts,
Stars learn solitude.

doomed to failure
