Mid November 16 degrees
Mid November should be time for freeze
Mid November leaves drop still
Mid November eating ice-cream to chill

What has happened to our seasons?
What has happened, so many manmade reasons?
What have we done to change the planet?
We must do something positive now ******!
16 Degrees Celcius in the Uk today. 9 November 2020

Like some form of re-animator
I morph into a new creature daily
To surprise you

My nails grow talons naturally
My hair becomes thick and black
Huge spikes come out of my back

My breathe gets hot and fiery
My smell of that of a fox
I stare at you and dribble
As you settle down and watch Googlebox
Poem made up whilst watching TV . Inspired by the movie 'Re-animator' and "American Werewolf in London'

The times we fought
Over things we see as important
The battlefield laid out
Our armour ready to take the blows

Our weapons drawn as soon as we speak
The waring words of attack
Only serve to try and justify
The forbidding onslaught

For I won't try and be your victor
No badge of honour shall I take
No carrying the flag to the hill top
No victory salute from the cop
Marrying daily battles in everyday life with Remembrance day in the UK. We shall remember them.

Morning fog
Morning slog
Car light bright
Door lock tight

Fog clears
Bike steers
Sun out
More about

Dusk came
Night fame
End of slog
Prepare for fog
#fog

Taste the Summer
Taste the salt 'n sea
Taste the skin of you 'n me

Taste the Autumn
Smell the soil
Prepare for cold, take that toil

Taste the Winter
Prepare to embrace
Let go of fear for what we face
Sister version of "Paint the future' with taste :) Taste the salt and sea it's wonderful

Brushing is like dreaming
The paint presents the resistance to my thoughts
Then it flows to allow the next thoughts in

Another corner, another edge
Another spill, another thrill

More thoughts go by
Another coat and I'll be done
Notes from thinking whilst painting a room today

Rounding the corner
Walking from the house
I'm thinking of my work day
Thinking what to say

Back through the woods
Smiling at the horse
Up through the copse
Strutting through the coarse

Down the busy road
Cars start to toot
Home beckons soon
Ending my fake commute
Inspired by the 'fake commute' story from the Guardian.co.uk where people are walking are taking a false drive in the morning as they miss their commute to work. It's interesting how we hang on to habits.
