A homeless man once said to me,

But I'm not complaining.

So I did.

I flew up to the sky and saw the ocean was blue,
The sky makes it that way but no one defines you.

I came back to Earth.

I came to the waters edge,
I saw people's dreams being washed away,
So I followed the sun,
And lived another day.

I left the ocean.

As I circulated the world I finally understood,
The people who live life to the fullest,
Are the ones who live it with nothing to lose.

My teacher said I had a lot of potential,
My friends thought I was hiding talent.
A few years later I soon found out,
That I could have been,
A fearsome dragon,
A blazing phoenix,
A savage shark,
A true leader.
*But I didn't.

Like lightning never strikes the same spot twice,
Like two stories are never the same.
Be who you are,
Don't be ashamed.

Hop on your bike,
Lets go outside!
We can throw a ball around,
Or go and buy sweets for a pound.
What are you waiting for,
Sitting around inside.
You're wasting your life!

Breathe me in like a vapor,
Let me embrace you in my warmth.
Carry me in your pocket for later,
I'll be there to warm you in storms.

I am the angel of redemption,
I am the king of the night.
I am a happy sensation,
I am a thief's delight.
I am the work force of the land,
Yet I rule it too.

**Who am I?

My sails flap and flutter,
As my ship protests against the wind.
The ocean roars back its response,
While the continents sail out of sight.

Rain pelts against my back,
Thunder strikes my ship.
My ship attempts to fall back,
New sails I equip.

My ship must go on,
Till I reach the faraway lands.
The sun peaks over the horizon,
As the world calms and brightens.
