I dreamed I
Saw fields of straw
Hallucinated the waves
Coming to me

I begged on
That little
Self inside me
To prove

His realness
And he said
I just am
And I

Answered
But the field was
Real to me all
Waving

Standing
Applauding
A festivity
Of me

And you are who
A homonculus
A being
Inside me
Have you

I questioned him
Myself me
My being
Mine ID

Have you
Little my
Senses of self
Monitor

My matriarchal
Patrician
Overseer
Have you

One too?
A little you
Inside you talk
To question

Go to in stress
For advice
And if so
Does he too?

On and and and and

Ononon
We went
Late

Into the night into day
I went

Back
To
The
Field

Death stops by to remind us
how beautifully fragile life is
and with her
you have gone away
and yet you are still here
in the quite moments
between my heart beat
and the silent space
between the tears falling
and I can still feel the warmth
of your laughter
and still hear the comfort
of your voice
I know not where you have gone
or if we will meet again
so what luck it was
what a privilege it has been
to have had you in it
my beautiful friend

ah how kindly
he strokes your peach fuzz covered cheeks

he stares into your deep brown eyes
and you feel him looking into your soul

you connect as his hand
reaches for yours, interlocking

finger woven through finger
blazing heat lingers between your palms

your mind melts
your heart tightens

you can't think of anything
except for how you feel

heart is pounding
can he tell?

hands are shaky
surely he knows.

breath is stiff
don't pass out.

so kind and comforting
are thoughts of him

your gaze slowly drifts back to his face
and you stare with intent

you melt and re-melt
everytime he blinks

each second you hold your stare
his presence becomes warmer

he is so beautiful
you think to yourself

your faces grow closer
nose touching nose

your heart stops racing
you've grown calm

yay
thinking of really happy recent memories usually brings on this type of poetry.
