The Change of the Cowardice
Jadson Jaxon Apr 2014
I was down
I was out
I was alone
I was sad

I found you by the porch
I found you gazing at the sea
I found you closing your eyes to the waves
I found you, and I kept you in my heart

Now I am shy
Now I am afraid
Now I nervously ask
Now I am possibly terrified

You just don't seem to notice
You just don't seem to see
You just don't get it
You just don't know

I'm afraid to confess
I'm afraid to speak the truth
I'm afraid to let you know
I'm afraid to say it to you

I love the way you are
I love the way you smile
I love the way you speak
I love the way that you just exist

But still I am afraid
But still I let that cowardice show
But still I just can't confess
But still I won't let that hold me back

Things have changed
Things are different now
Things, I let the tides change
Things, I let the tables turn

Now I will try to stand up
Now I will try to be brave
Now I will try to push my luck
Now I will try to not be afraid

I will profess my love for you
I will profess my love that is endless
I will profess my love that goes in many ways
I will profess my love, changing for the better

I stand up for what I believe in
I stand up for this love
I stand up for the both of us
I stand up for all trials

Confused in Love
Jadson Jaxon Jan 2014
For it is this love, that I feel,
Sleepless nights, restless days, letting play the reel
Of film that shows how my life does look and feel.

Oh for when I see this form Adonis may it not be similar to,
But Aphrodite has something up her sleeve, a thing or two
About how this network of unrequited love will just end up sad and blue.

I do wish you the best of luck in everything you love,
Sadly I can't wish you to love me, to the heavens above.
It is now that I should try to let go of this dove.

To this dove that I loved endearingly,
To this dove that was close to me adoringly,
To this dove that I will bid farewell agonizingly.

I just keep on holding on
To this love that will dawn upon
Me the finality of this feeling that will be gone.

But it's you why I keep on hoping
That our love is just in the making.
I hope I won't be forever longing.

From Hopeless to Hoping
Jadson Jaxon Dec 2013
I guess you'll never feel the same.
I guess my feelings have never back came.
I guess we'll be at this close distance
I guess my feelings for you won't have that blissful instance.

From that day I started to fall for you.
From that day I ended up hoping.
From that day you shattered my heart in blue.
From that day you made me go mooning.

I think that I shouldn't stop loving.
I think that I should still pursue.
I think that you should open your heart beating.
I think that you should beat for me too.

I won't stop until I achieve success.
I won't stop until I have you.
I won't stop until you love me in excess.
I won't stop until you love me too.

To The Love That Once Was
Jadson Jaxon Dec 2013
To the winds of love that carried me on my back,
To the railroads of romance with many a never ending track,
To the sunken feeling I got when I first saw your face,
To the heart that shattered, ended your serene grace.

To the Athena that enlightened me,
To the Zeus that I revered thee,
To the Poseidon I looked at awe,
To the Hades that exposed my flaw.

To the one I loved, now is lost.
To the one I sheltered from the rain that turned frost.
To the one that was the nightingale of my heart,
To the one that was like Da Vinci, my life gone along with my love's art.
