i held you like a rope with no slack,
searing my palms as you pulled away and i held on tight

and when i finally let go
i wondered why the love hurt more than the leave

“Have you ever kissed a lover
so hard
you chipped a tooth?”
she asked
with a grin that
revealed more than one
chipped tooth

He shook his head. “No, and I
really don’t intend
to.”

Well, that’s what you get
for hitting
on a girl you meet
in the yard of the local asylum. But
she said she was a
nurse...

“Anyway,” he said. “If this is what happened
to you… What happened
to him? I mean,
after the kiss.”

“Oh, there were many,
many kisses actually,” she said. “He’s
dead now.”

“What? He died?”

“Well, yeah, dogs don’t
live that much. Compared to humans,
I mean.”

I'm just scribbling in the wind
Babbling to dead trees
I wonder why I even begin
painting portraits no one sees

I'm just spitting into a void
Barely whispering from a well
I wonder if anyone hears my voice
It's becoming hard to tell

Your existence pays a lot of attention to what you think you could do to help, you bestow a solace to a place only you and I would love to be, every shadows and highlights blended too well at times when we can't control our thoughts and anxiety. To a friend like you even when we rarely talked, I pray that you'll bravely conquer all the battles that you were afraid to tell to anyone, including me. May you found your happiness, peace and success in everything you do, you are one of a kind.

Sometimes I think to myself
Why am I so odd
Not from a book that's off the shelf
a blunder made by God

Completely different than the rest
by strange things motivated
You'd classify me as a pest
so why was I created ?

Perhaps I'm simply a mistake
or maybe I'm part alien
It's best that during my lunch break
