someone from afar
whispered the words of love
softly to my heart

As I glance up
I catch the clock ticking by...
another second gone.
And all at once the gravity of it all hits me.
The loss of one of many seconds in my life...
that one meant something.
It was something that belonged to me...
And I just threw it away.
I did nothing to grasp onto it,
nothing to do it any justice.
I just sat here and watched it tick past
and on to the next.
It wasn't special.
It was passive

meaningless

It is gone.
Forever lost to the passing of time.
And I begin to think...
Time takes away more than it gives.

And I think I saw you flash before my eyes.
And constrict me from breathing.
Shutting off my lungs.
It hurt so much.
And its like my heart is a guitar because you’re constantly plucking the strings
Its driving me insane.

Now please don’t let me fall
Because we both know I’ll drown
There’s no easy way out

I can barely see the skyline
Its fading baby
You’re fading away
If I leave do you think you’ll stay
And I can’t find the words to finish this
But goodbye means forever

Lorraine day
Beneath these skies so much surrounds
The air we breath with darkened sound

Noise from traffic fills the air
Pollution Spewing everywhere

Skeletal frames of the human race
Reflect upon the ground they face

The clock it rules it regulates
It delegates anticipates

No escape no release
An intruder -til our time does cease

Responsibilities scream and shout
Following us til we check out
No where to hide
No where to run
They encroach our freedom
****** our fun

So little time to laugh and play
Not enough hours in a day
Evaluation is the key
Awareness of identity

Our purpose here
Our hopes our dreams
What really matters
What life means

Careful of each step we take
Learning from each mistake

So many things  a desired need
So much waste so much greed

As we walk beneath these skies above

Know -       the greatest gift

Is.

Love

And

Be  Loved

Persistent places
Sequent occupations of the landscape diachronically
Consisting of Action, Search, and Awareness Spaces

Action Spaces
The foci of people comprehensively
Interacting  with their place

Search Spaces
Where people go
To fulfill specific needs

Awareness Spaces
Those places people are aware of
But do not interact directly

These spaces that appear as palimsests
Accumulated layers of action, search and awareness
Comprehending persistent places is to understand the past

I was only seven; barely alive
Frizzy haired, freckle faced
Innocent and pure
Loving and Caring

You held my hand
You braided my hair
You held me when I cried
You made me smile

I can still smell your perfume
I can still hear your laugh
I can still feel your warmth
I can still feel your arms around me

You were ripped from my life
When I needed you most
You were there one day
You were gone the next

I miss you a lot
I miss your hugs
I miss your laugh
I miss your smile

I don't regret meeting you
I don't regret loving you
I only regret one thing
I didn't get to say goodbye

Now, safe within these walls
I can forget
the press of things undone,
days of regret.

Tonight new dreams are mine
with just a touch.
Enclosed within your arms
and loved so much.

As treasure in your eyes
I feel no fear.
We dance, we spin and float,
then, resting near -

Your warm hand holding mine
in sweet repose.
Your breathing stirs my hair,
your eyelids close.

Tonight, new dreams are yours
with just a touch.
Enclosed within my arms
and loved so much.
