Third Eye Candy
that leather skin beehive humming in the Hamptons
is just like the ziggarat ghettos of Compton
a fob on a boil on the face of your hidden face
and  a stab at your entrails from the inside; commonplace -
Romans demure to your architect
you'll have your symmetries before breakfast...
let no one forget.

gorgeous ****** suns, gallant in emptiness
a horde of unfettered lovelies, spawning petulant ***** to other *****
a lull of ponderous, a bead of serene, swimming in hot pink mist
and peppercorn wavy gravy.
i slay these dragons to form new words
that Oodle your frenzy
and keep you
for mine .

It’s Christmas time, Santa Claus is here,
I guess it’s just that time of year
That fills everyone with glee,
Everyone but me.

I immediately regretted climbing out of bed
When I feel the chill creeping up my neck.
I just want to go back to sleep,
Then some sanity I can keep.

I slowly make my way toward the fireplace.
But that’s when I see your face
Because you always kept me warm.
And sheltered from those winter storms.

Everyone is asking me to make a list,
If I could have anything that I wish,
What would it be?
I close my eyes and I see.

Hawaii or Europe could be nice,
At least they aren’t covered in this ice.
Or maybe a new sweater,
To hide myself from this weather.

Avery wants a Barbie and Kayden wants it all,
Ian wants legos, but I fear that they’re so small,
He will probably lose them, so I guess that’s a waste,
I just want to kiss away these unpleasant holidays.

I could say I want a new car covered in ribbons and bows
But if you want the truth, then here it goes.
I want to go back this time last year where everything was right.
Where I had the boy, I had the Dad, but a Mother? Well…not quite.

Maybe that could be my other wish,
A bonus on my gift list.
I would do anything you need me to,
Because Christmas isn’t the same without you.

You didn’t have to be my father,
Because I was another man’s daughter,
But you pulled me in, and gave me your name,
And when it came to your children, you treated me the same.

Maybe I didn’t know my dad,
But there was one special man that I had,
And as I look out over this blasted snow,
I realize that I can’t let you go.

Mom part 2 might seem alright,
But you should see how she is at night,
Because the love of her life was taken away,
A month ago from last Sunday.

Daddy’s little girl, isn’t little anymore,
And daddy isn’t here to kiss her little sores.
Her heart is breaking because you’re gone.
But life is supposed to go on.

They asked me what I wanted
And all I know is that this is true,
**That Christmas time, isn’t Christmas time,
If Christmas is missing you.

Hedgehog

Something in my garden,
Small dark stout.
Is it coming in?
Or maybe going out?

Hidden in the long grass,
Almost out of sight.
Edging in slowly ,
In case it gets a fright.

Little beady eyes,
Long thin nose.
Sharp bent clause,
On little hairy toes.

As it scurries off quickly,
To winter hibernate.
I see the snow is coming,
Hope he's not too late.

Coffee and **** rips.
What a delightful breakfast.
I should eat, also.

Perfect hands, she has
     like no other,
love is the sheen,
       her mobile fingers exude,
                               in her hands
                                          I am malleable and ductile,
                                  she crafts me
as a piece of Hellenic art.

I seem to want to find you here amongst the shrouded leaves
To hold my hand so we may fly beyond the forest's trees
The freckles on your silky cheeks seem as kisses from the sun
And I find my longing grows stronger to kiss each and every one
The way you smile at me leads me to the brighter days
Pushing all my wrong-doings back to their cryptic graves
For all my heart's eye can see is Sara's lovely hue
In world's where grass is always green and skies are always blue
She sings to me a love song each time our lips dare touch
And purchases a heart given which loves her so very much
In her sapphire eyes lies my solace and excitement all in one
The girl who finds me amongst the leaves who's been kissed by the sun...

You and I,
We could entertain ourselves
With a single word,
A moment in the valley,
With only the stars as our witness,
A shot of our favorite bourbon,
Or even just the sound of the trees whispering-
Outfitted with only the nakedness of this life
Hands held, lips touching, just our breath.
We could have everything and more.
You’ll just never know it,
Until you open your eyes.

You breathe in
I breathe out
there is just one difference
you breathe with doubt
your eyes are glazed
with staining tears
pain and frustration
and terrifying fears
I try to save you
but its no use
I scream and shout
but my voice is mute
I reach out to you
try to touch you
but you back away
why can't I love you?
I see you suffering
and I'm trying to fix it
But your to stubborn
and you won't listen
so I leave your side
as your breathing grows hard
and my heart breaks
into tiny glass shards
I feel your hand
as you reach out to me
silly child can't you see?
I loved you I did
but you lost your chance
and now you will never
have the last laugh.
