Cat Fight

Cat fight, cat fight
Meow, meow
Cat fight, cat fight
On the prow

Can't hide from the scratches
Can't have them declawed
They fight in batches
The can't be outlawed

Cat fight, cat fight
Meow, meow
Cat fight, cat fight
On the prow
This is a children's poem. I think kids can enjoy it, and kids of all ages play this game. I know the term cat fight is derogatory, but I am angered by the fact that even women on this sight fight with each other in poetry. I was asked to remove a like from a woman's poem because another woman, who I don't even know, thought it was about her. I did this time, but I don't like being censored! This poem is about all people who put personal Narcism before freedom of expression. I took the poem as a general theme not about an individual. This is a general theme, just inspired by you. Sorry, all. I sharpened my claws. Haha

I killed another one this week
in front of everybody
her beauty gradually faded
as I starved her
and watched her wither
at one point I regretted it
and tried to revive her
I gave her plenty
but she drowned
and left a foul smell
of decay

Tilly
Little feet
on mounds of earth
Lots of stamping
childrens' mirth
Jumping mole hills
wellies high

How fast these precious times go by

Little voice from mum (disguised)
wonderment shines in widening eyes
believing the poor jangled mole had said

**"Stop Stamping On My Head!"
True story.
What is it about kids, and molehills?? lol.
Aged 16 & almost 2,
they are the best mole deterrents I know of !

Mr Kipling grins
Satisfied he did the right thing
Watching it go round and round
Certain his investment's sound
Sending him a trifle dizzy
While making exceedingly good
               electricity
And when it's weeks since the wind last blew
That can make him dizzy too

I cannot recall
time
before Him
before pain

I was naked
and blindfold
I think I tried
to escape
but He caught me
suddenly all was dark
I cannot recall
anything
but pain

And I cannot escape
He has taken my legs
and replaced them
my arms too
with metal bars
ending in o-rings
He tied me up

I think I tried
to bite Him
when He tried
to **** my mouth
the pain
Then it was dark
and I woke up
with rubber teeth

I saw a glimpse
of the room
the pain
the chains
the hooks
and His face

I can no longer see
He took out my eyes
with frightful images
and acid
more pain
but I still remember
watching the others
me
on video
in pain

I cannot hear
only His breath
bearing
the screams in my mind
echo
but nobody hears

But I can smell
I smell
Him
I smell iron chains
and clasps
And I smell His breath
His sweat
His *****
I smell blood
and burnt skin
and pain
maybe my own
maybe theirs
I don't know

I understand now
He is God
I am His
creation
His toy

You sit down to write the perfect song
To the tune that is lodged in your head
You just need the right words to go along
But  most every thing has already been said

You could write about unrelenting love
Or a love that's no longer there
To tell the truth hasn't there been more than enough
And does true love really care

The lyrics have to be more than can be seen
Words that envelop all space and time
So your search dives deeper into the abyss
Trying to capture the perfect line

It doesn't have to be a song you can dance to
But one that still moves the heart
The rhythm of language will replace the hearts beat
That is at this moment where you find you are

You decide to walk down the road of life a little further
Hoping inspirational words fill your head soon
Knowing full well this song will explain what all life is for
Until then you'll continue whistling the tune...

The moon will always rise
The sun will always set
Life is full of mass regret
Redundant

The rain continues to pound
The leaves always wither
There's never anyone around
Repetitious

The clouds float by
The breeze gently cools
Another day, another cry
Repetitive

The flowers bloom
The torrents flow
Yet narcissistically consumed
Over and over and over
Nature suggests that our tiny problems are minuscule and insignificant. We need to be reminded to get over it, see the bigger picture, and enjoy nature and life while we and the sun still is rising! It always will; we won't. Forgive me if I repeated myself in this poem. Haha

Right now
I regenerate
in time capsules
of Elizabeth Arden
Ceramides
and tomorrow
I shall look myself
again
like the picture
I keep in my head
