I catch your eye accidentally
as you look from across the room
despite the pain you’ve caused
my heart still flutters.
I know what the ending of this story is,
but I still hope that one day,
you’ll have the courage to change it.

as she sat there surrounded by darkness
talking to the boy
she wondered.
what would happen if she kissed him
would the world suddenly crumble down?
would leaves suddenly stop turning yellow?
would the movie they were watching freeze?
she would never know,
because she never took the chance.

All remains the same...!!!

But,
Something strange does exists
That changes with this new date..

Ever flowing lake of new desires arise,
With this new date..!!

New dress
New colors
New resolutions
New promises..
Does arise with this new date..!!

Each place seems to be new,
Each corner lit and glowing,
Each face scrubbed and cleaned
Each human happy and cheerful..
All send to be new
When the New year dawns..!
