the gods of musical innovation
did gift one man
with all the talent
fifty years of his magnificence
hath graced albums and CD's
his stellar performances
can't be outdone
in the eyes of his fans
he'll always be number one
Robert Plant
hath stamped
a place in the fields
of
composing
singing
and
arranging
WOW
doesn't do him justice
nor any other word
the world of ROCK MUSIC
hath come to know
an extraordinary man
Stairway To Heaven
Lotta Love
Black Dog
so many tunes
that we've come to love
the seed of his mastery
shall play ever so
brilliantly
in the galleries
of his dreams
the most voluptuous women could be seen
these mirages of his mind
were so real
in his REM moments

curvacious pillowed thighs
******* of tantalizing appeal
sensual libations
his hands could touch
e'en the petals of the flower's
moistened entree

the night hours of sojourning
to the female forms frames
did bring him pleasure
with the colors and textures
they did supply
how he so wishes
they were at his command
in the waking hours
of day light

~

Silence, on waves of our tide motioned heartbeats,
cascading rhythms, a smooth metronome
Keeping this time inside blue water passions,
beneath the surface, the feelings we’ve grown

Hidden so deep in the swells of affection,
swimming the shores of a long summer’s night
Building a fortress of seashell laced castles,
sand dollar curtains to fend off the light

Running for cover as sunrise now beckons,
placing our smiles where the seas can not gaze
Whispering secrets of coast line devotion,
harboring dreams till the end of our days

Lighthouse lit beacons now search as a witness,
beaches a’ shimmer of moon glow above
Hoisting our anchor, we share the horizons,
*sailing these oceans, professing our love

Winter is coming!
With arctic winds
And bitter frost
Lining the cold ground
Frozen dewdrops glisten
In the meadow by light
Of morning sunshine
Winter is coming!
Can't you feel the stinging
Breezes nipping our faces?
When lacy snowflakes start
Pouring out of the grey clouds
Flowers lay dormant until next Spring
And animals go to sleep
Winter is coming!
Can't you feel it in the air?

Not at all like my usual writings!!
Just a little something that came to me
This morning!!! My hands are kinda cold
So, I guess that is why I chose to write
About this particular season, LOL!!! :) ~~~~~<3
Hope you enjoy reading it!!! ~~~~<3

Yes, write me a poem
About autumn leaves drifting on the wind
About snowflakes settling on your eyelids
Maybe about the gentle spring rain
Or walking by the crystal stream on a bright summers day
Take me back to your childhood
Of days spent in a tent
Of walks in meadows
Resplendent with the artists pallete of color
Take me into that forest where the birds so freely sing
Take me into a world of make believe
Of fairies and dragons
Of mermaids haunting songs floating across the sea
Yes, take me to those places, those beautiful things

Please don't take me to doom and despair
Of suicidal feelings
Oh my girlfriend/boy friend of three days has left me
I can't live without him/her
Don't give me feelings of deep depression
I'm not a phsychiatrist so I can't help you
Just give me poetry
a blue winged butterfly
pirouetted in the garden
like a pretty ballerina
twirling on the stage

Joe still can't get
the senate chamber to agree
that he has a well thought out
budget strategy

parts of his budget bill wont get passed
this calendar year
which will cause
the Libs and Nats to all jeer

expenditure
must be well reined in
the stack of treasury notes
are rather thin

none of the belt tightening
measures getting in
the impasse means the government
wont have savings in the tin

the country needs to have
the books in the black
if they don't pass the bills
we'll always looking back

Clive Palmer, The Greens and Labor
wont give ground
so the budget papers
will just keep hanging around

parliament will soon
be on a summer break
with our current fiscal balance
being at stake

we're all hoping
that common sense will prevail
as our nation's economy
shall continue to ail
