And you want to kiss me again.

Lets get back to how we were.
and not how you're planning it to be.
please
No.
Lets never finish,
what we once started.
lets make this for life.
b'*** I,
I might as well,
wait for forever.
If that means,
I might have you.
Like we were.
And not how we plan
To be.
No.
Please.
Presence is not all that i need.
I need some more.
I have you.
but I dont have YOU.
idk why.but my guy is acting alright, pretty normal, but not like we were. **** sad. like **** it.

All the poems I see are sad.
I hit shuffle for the hundredth time,
Hoping not to see the word "gone" or "pain" or "alone."
Once again, I am disappointed.
Yes, I get it.
We turn to poetry when our souls are darkest
To release our insecurities under anonymity
To see the yellow lightning bolt shouting,
"Someone cares!"
Into your darkness.
And this is all right.

But there is also joy in this earth.
There are weird moments when I feel happy
Even though I don't have a boyfriend
And my best friend isn't talking to me
And it's grey and bleak outside.
In these moments of inexplicable happiness,
There is just as much poetry
As there is in the moments
Of inexplicable sorrow.

Milestone

Today I hit a milestone
Another year it now have passed
Looking forward to my future
Taking time to love and laugh

I remember as a child
I could not wait to grow
Not knowing all that I would see
What I would need to know

As a teen I never listened
To what others had to say
Believing that no matter what
My life would be okay

It seems like only yesterday
When I turned twenty one
That day they first presented me
My shield and my gun

I remember how I felt
The day my child was born
The special love inside my heart
For a soul that I adore

A marriage to someone I loved
That I vowed to always hold
Not knowing of the future pain
And how it would unfold

A life  with many ups and down
Some say rich as well as poor
Family, friends and those I've loved
Always welcomed at my door

Today I reached a milestone
Another year it now has passed
Looking forward to my future
Taking time to love and laugh

February 6,
My Birthday
I run three miles, three times a week and workout on a regular basis to keep myself feeling young. I want to give thanks to all the great poets that have allowed me to read your works over this last year. I have been on Hello Poetry for one year as of February 20th. It is with amazement that each day I read amazing poems from so many amazing poets.. Each poem I read throughout the year I consider a present. Thank you all.

"I love you." I repeated to myself in the dark and dreary room.
"I love you. I love you. I love you." as if it would brighten up the gloom.
"I love you." I shouted to twinkling and abundant stars. "I love you." I yelled to the red planet Mars.
"I love you." I whispered to my little flower ***. However my face may have whispered my state of distraught.
"I love you." I sang to the slow setting breeze. The words came off my lips with such an eloquent ease.
"I love you." I confided to the cold winter night. Through solace and indifference that comforted my plight.
"I love you." I proclaimed to my favorite blue pen, then I looked outside my window and that would be when,
"I love you." I chimed to the evening moon. Her bright light informed me that the time would come soon.
"I love you." I stated to the dimly lit telly, and that's when into the room walked my beautiful wife Ellie.
She glared at me and grabbed her suitcase, my heart pounded as such it would were I in danger.
She swiftly passed me a glance and left, because I could not say "I love you." to a stranger.

It was many and many a year ago,
In a school along the coast,
Sat a room of children you might know,
but none stood out the most.
Deep deep down inside you see, we all have a heart and soul, the choices are what makes us different
As you realize this all from your observation post
She may look fair,
He could look charming,
but don’t you dare give her a good stare,
and he’s really quite alarming and maybe a bit harming.
Deep deep down inside you see, we all have a heart and soul, the choices are what makes us different
See? your disarming!
She looks dark,
He is weird
but oh wait she’s really can light the spark!
and he isn’t to be feared!
Deep deep down inside you see, we all have a heart and soul, the choices are what makes us different
We should all be premiered!

So as you can see,
we’re all quite unique.
So do not flee,
come take a peek.
Come see what’s on the inside,
it’s quite critique
