Palestinian history will
Never be erased and it's true
My heart beats just for you

Together we honor the journey
We've made Palestine and
The threads of your
Legacy never will fade.

A conscience
Is a Powerful
Presence.

The illusion of democracy
Wrapped in a shroud of trust
The ballot box a hollow shell
Our promises made so often fell
The illusion of democracy
And rhetoric hatred endless wars and
Votes are bought and freedom dies
The illusion fades the truth takes hold
The illusion reigns a cruel deceit and
Where the wealthy few control the world
Democracy's madness oh so sweet.

In Palestine where rivers flow
And Lord Jesus Christ roamed
And he walked everyehere
Preaching everlasting love
With his gentle hands he healed
The sick and suffering and
In our hearts hope revealed
A light of peace in every glow.

In the Lord Jesus Christ's
Garden of everlasting love and
With his love shining bright
Every day and night and
He taught us to love one another
And walk in his light and
Transforming our sorrows
Into his sweet joy and
Love everlasting and
No pain to destroy.

When
Death
Comes
Knocking
Nobody
Is
Safe.

On world Poetry day
The world takes flight and
Poetry dances from day to night
Under the moonlight and we will
All gather round both young and old
And Poetry and stories from the
Heart are been told

So today we sing and dance and
With hope and joy and the dreams we bring
With pens and pencils in hand
And our voices soar to the sky
Unlocking hearts and every
Poet seeks more and

The whispered breeze in twilight's glow
Carries thoughts where wildflowers grow
Each line a thread each verse a song
In every culture we all belong

So raise a glass to poets might
And let's have fun tonight and let
The verses ring both far and wide
And let words ignite a burning light
And we praise every Poet in life
Especially our hero Robert Burns tonight
And on this day set for poets pride

For in their songs our spirits soar and
World Poetry day forever etched in fame
And every Poet will find there
Voice the truth and the way and
Poetry is the language of souls and  
World Poetry day a treasure to behold.
