What if I fell in love
With a broken down *******
Not because I needed to fix him
But simply because I wanted to revel in his beauty
The maddening craziness
Of a life
A life that didn't need to be maintained with perfection
A life where you could just knock down pillars that you didn't need
Destroy friendships that weren't beneficial
A life where one could disown one's own mother
Without the whole neighbourhood offering their tut-tuts
And their 5 cents too many
About how to trim your garden
What if I fell in love with a life
Who let their weeds grow
And created a garden out of thorns
A **** patch that would make those neighbours shriek
What if I fell in love with chaos and disorder
Not to right the tables
Nor to order the shelves
What if I didn't attempt to prune the garden
But I let it grow into a forest
And then laughed when I stepped on a thorn
What if I let the sun shine through the madness
What if I opened my arms to the destruction
What if you sung me a lullaby out of tune
And I asked you to sing it anyways…

So many misinterpreted metaphors
make me cringe
''are you trying to ruin poetry for everyone''
but I hide my damp eyes behind my fringe
because I mustn't argue and my teachers are never wrong
They sing without a meaning or lyric in their song
we are taught to write what they want to hear
not the truth we feel inside our hopes and fears

But i must turn the other cheek
to get my degree I need..when home I ponder, I weep
because it was the school that killed poetry
for many of my peers..
But all is not lost..wipe away those tears
Grab the pen that feels ethical
the paper that doesn't deceive, doesn't lie
and write a poem that you can feel
you'll get out of school alive
(You know who you are who started this haha!)..Don't get me wrong I love teachers in general..I plan on becoming an awesome one someday too :)

Very painful
Its is not that i felt for which she doesn't like me
But i felt for which i doesn't know that for this long time

I miss her
Even i doubt once that she doesn't like me
But i convinced myself that she will like me on one day

But when my well wishers  told me real fact i was stunned
Because   I too know that but  my false convincing heart died
Still my heart likes her and wants her

But I Don't want her
Because i never want love to be begged

All these painful words never means that
She was bad or rude

She was absolutely
good
kind
nice
and lovely...

All these qualities
made or force me
to love her still

She says"I DON'T WANT HURT YOUR FEELINGS"
But how can i hurt her by my mad love..
Absolutely she is an awesome character...she even warned me once that i must not have  this much affection on her.really she is 100%gold...so i will not disturb her anymore..

Life is neither a hell nor a heaven...
Feeling irritated....Doesn't know the reason..Hate myself(my personality)..
SHE
She wants to be beautiful.
So she puts on that blouse that gives her just the right physique.
She puts her makeup on.

China Doll.

She fixes her hair so that it falls in the perfect direction.

She tries to fit in.
To fit in with all these people just like her,
Who want to be pretty,
Who want to fit in.

She wants to be loved.

She finds a guy.
He is her dream come true, her prince charming, her world.

He “loves” her.
He is drawn to her ****, her ***, the most ****** regions of her body.

***.
So he says he loves her.

She loves him.

She loves the sparkle in his eyes, she loves the dimple in his right cheek when he laughs.
She loves the way he walks, the way he talks, the way he looks when he is angry.
She loves his smile, his nose even though it isn't perfect.

She loves him.

She wants to be skinny.

So she looks at herself naked in the mirror every morning and every night,
Imagining how she would look without this and that.
She cries because she wants to be perfect, society’s definition of what a woman should look like.

She wants to be happy.

So she wears that dazzling smile that she has practiced so hard to get right.

She is incredible, funny, and has a personality anyone would die to have.

She fools her family, her friends
To think that she’s untroubled, without a care in the world.

She fools herself.

She is exhausted.

She is abused.

She is used.

She is corrupted.

She is hurt.

She is turned down, let go, disappointed.

She is abused, mentally by those people who told her she wasn't pretty enough.
Used, by the boy who said he loved her.
Corrupted, from society’s image on women.
Hurt, hurt by those people that were so close.
So close that they should have known.
They should have known something was wrong, that she wasn't okay, she wasn't happy.

She is gone.

She didn't believe in herself.
She couldn't deal with the pain and the exile.
She was an outcast.
She took the easy way out.
She has given up.

Now.

Those people are still trying to fit in. To be like everyone else trying to fit in.
That boy is still looking for ****** amusement using and re-using beautiful souls for his own pleasure.
Society is still corrupt. It’s such a shame.
Families and friends still ignorant to what is really going on in their loved ones minds.

Hopeless.
This is the first poem I ever wrote and I just found it; exciting seeing how I've grown as a poet :) I bet you guys can relate too! I wrote this poem in 3rd person about myself in 2012, I was a bit of a Debbie Downer.
he’s telling me about the girl at school
he can’t get out of his head,
and how he feels like
it’s always this chain of
"i don’t want all these people that want me,"
(i winced)
“and the one person i want doesn’t want me
in the same way.”
(i inhaled sharply)

i told him he’s overthinking it,
and when he asked, “how do you not?”
(i forgot to breathe)

my eyes got watery, but i blinked quickly
before they could settle
(i exhaled)

and replied,
“i'll let you know.”
