Each one has a different tale
Yet they are all one

Promise

What is a promise worth when it means nothing at all to a broken person?
An excuse to make people happy?
To make someone believe lies even more?
What is it?

a single flower petal falls
he realizes it all
that one disease
has claimed another

no more petals to fall
no one to attend the ball
he's lonely now
and forever on

For the first time in a long time,
I can say that I feel free from expectations,
free from limitations,
and myself.
I can feel the seasons changing,
and it's been a while since
I've seen the surface.
Felt the sun kiss my skin
and heard the wind whistle melodies
as it grazed my ears
on the way to the mountains.
The whole world is aching –
I know, but the rain never cared.
It reflects a time
when man was primal;
before he had a right to fear.
The rain whispers to me, 'I love you.'
I love you,
and I am not afraid.

Things that grow
Between the lines,
All I said was I need some wine.

Things you know
Beneath the lies,
Time has slowed to catch the tide.

I’m here now, and
That’s what counts.

Yes I lost my mind,
And that’s alright.

flipping pages through my book
while the moon is my lampshade,
i shall read it you.
