Man I was there
that night when your mind
went into melt down
did not know
you had that fight in you
sort of shame me
built up castles of these times
now I running out of control
mind free
now the court ask me
was this man helping himself
I was there man thats how it went down
all I could say It was
mirror it any why
the reflections will tell you so.
True story  Regards to paul        :-)    P@ul.

Going on a road trip
Something for my soul
It's gonna take a while
But, it's gonna make me whole

I'm going to cross the country
But, I'll start on both the coasts
I've been in too many bottles
Have to exorcise some ghosts

Mile Marker Three Three Three Nine
That's where the dream did end
Mile Marker Three Three Three Nine
That's where I'll start to mend

Greyhound bus out of the east
From the Maritimes my son
I'll venture through Quebec as well
This is journey number one

I'll stop and meet the people
Get their stories, of the man
I'll find the ones who met him
Try to learn just what I can

Adversity, I've had my share
Always tried self medication
Now, I need to find myself
This will take some dedication

I'll head on through Ontario
On the Trans Canada Highway route
And I'll try lose my demons
Give my devils all the boot

Brick by brick I'll bring down the walls
That over years I've built
Bricks made up of hate and rage
by love, and fear and guilt

From the west, I'll make my way
Do the highway he could not
Through the rocky mountains
Every mile is hard fought

I'll learn about the person
Who he was and who I am
I'll come through the fire stronger
I'll be a much better man

I will bus across the prairies
Through the Manitoba cold
I will focus on my endgame
I'll learn from what I'm told

Two journeys I will travel
Neither one from coast to coast
But, both are to be ended
by that famous mile post

Maybe I can find the answer
Join myself, go through the door
As he joined a nation
So many years before

Mile Marker Three Three Three Nine
That's where my journey ends
Mile Marker Three Three Three Nine
That's where I'll start to mend

What the ****
woman each and every time
we make love
you cut my back with your nails
I told once
I've told you twice
love is passion not pain
leave my ******* back alone
kiss me, do nice stuff
tell me how you love me
but Kat don't cut me with your nails.
Make LOVE and not WAR sleep well tonight  P@ul.

Must be my best poem so far!

Some day's
all the people talk to
let go
tell me things
just tears @ my heart
and all I can do is continue to be free
just building castles of sand on the beach in the dark
so I go on and just be free me
but it cuts me deep
and my heart bleeds.

I like flowers
but I am as strong as man
that never cry's
but I offen do
on nights when alone
the men are not the strong
for it takes
a woman to hurt one
first they play with your heart
then your ******* mind
then one day
when you lest expected
they stab you in the heart
so woman
if you ever get to my bedroom
leave all your weapons outside
and just be woman.

Don't Play with my heart.
So true          P@ul.

A child's eyes show innocence
They are open to things new
They show with no discretion
They see all the things we do
A child's eye's receptive
To the joy and pain we see
It's a window, unobstructed
It's the way that things should be

A young man's eyes, they wander
They see the future not the past
They are open to advancement
They see things that we know don't last
A young man's eyes are blurry
They show them what they want to see
They show innocence is missing
They show that nothing good is free

The eyes of a middle aged man
They are the windows to the end
They see retirement is coming
They see that age is not a friend
The eyes of a middle aged man
They show regret and are all red
These eyes are always tired
They show what they should have done instead

The eyes of an old man show
The innocence of the child
They show recollection of their passage
They are full of love and they are mild
They old man's eyes look backward
More than at the future that is passed
They see the good times far behind them
They show the memories that will last

Your eyes, they are the window
To the world you see each day
They show you things of beauty
They show the world at play
An innocent sees nothing but
The world as it should be
So, take the time and clean your window
And see the world like me

It's time
to stop sitting on the fence
It's time
get this world together
It's time
to give your sister a kiss
It's time
To make new toys for the kids
It's time
to get back to reality
It's time
for politicians do not do enough
It's time
to give them the boot
It's time
to restart your computer
It's time
to look @ things new

Between me and you

Foreign country
all I want to do is pray
smell the jose stick
and incense in the air
fall down on my knees
in front what I think the altar
pray give GOD my pray's
my GOD blessed me
then go about
my life
smelling kind of funny all day
and I think I bruised a knee

Roger Turner - Poet
Everybody has those days
you know the one's I mean
where no matter what you try and do
you just stand back and scream
plans go all asunder
and things go all to hell
You should have stayed under the covers
shut your eyes, ignored the bell

You've had them, that I'm sure of
When the toast burns, coffee too
The dog ate the kids homework
What are you supposed to do?
The car door was left open
It won't start, but that's all right
Because someone stole the left side tires
While you were sleeping through the night

One step forward
Three steps back
The dance of all concerned
One step forward
Three steps back
Move fast or you'll get burned

Water running down the staircase
The toilet overflowed once more
not to mention all the water
behind the locked bathroom door
it's great the kids are learning
the different things in this world wide
like how different things will happen
when you let a skunk in from outside

a stiff drink would be lovely
would make the problem disappear
but, your oldest drank your whiskey
and you've only got two near beer
skunks and cars, and broken phones
just a day in all our lives
that's why doctors tell new husbands
time to lock up all the knives

One step forward
Three steps back
The dance of all concerned
One step forward
Three steps back
Move fast or you'll get burned

The dance is one we all know
best intentions laid to rest
you'll never quite get where you're going
until you first pass all the tests
just smile and keep moving
don't let it get you down
the dance is not selective
it picks on everyone in town

remember..

One step forward
Three steps back
The dance of all concerned
One step forward
Three steps back
Move fast or you'll get burned

Apollo was
mans greatest quest
and not a Greek God.
sitting on top
of a beast
mOOn
to go
feeling the
pressures of man
outer space
human race
vacuum
to boiling blood
done for
human kind
landing
in perfect
tranquility
walking
in the moon
embrace
Man is not
a
fool
then home
again.
Love to Apollo crews      P@ul.
Just sent my poem to NASSA wonder if they will reply
or will I be looking out for men in dark sunglasses!

I wish that I could find the words
To tell you what you meant to me
and that I love you so
But I'm just not the sort of guy
That knows exactly what to say
That's something you should know

I wish that I could tell you
How my heart starts beating different
Whenever you're around
But, I'm just not the sort of guy
That knows exactly what to say
And those words can not be found

I'd love for you to know
That you're the most important person
in my world and I
would love to say I love you
And let you know that it is true
But, I'm just not that sort of guy

words are not my strong point
I can't say just what I need
to tell you what I should
I'm just not the sort of person
who can tell you what I feel
I only wish I could

I know this nurse
called Olivia
hope
on my dying day
I get one of those
happy to push the pipes back
when I pulled them out
and when
compi mentis
feed me by mouth
and tell me
what old fool I am
for the nurses
are princesses.

Just for you Livi.
