Trolls exist
If believed in,
Or if
Invited to invade
The mind.
Like leprechauns,
Look sideways,
They're gone.

She will travel million miles
No distance would seem so far away
For the sake of someone she loves.

She will not give up
Be ready to fight
For the sake of someone she loves.

She will be tough
Though she is not that strong enough
For the sake of someone she loves.

She will not be afraid
Gather all courage she can have
For the sake of someone she loves.

She will go through hell
And get back from it
For the sake of someone she loves.

She will not just be a shoulder to cry on
But will also extend a helping hand
For the sake of someone she loves.

She will bravely face anything
Not even death would scare her
If it is for the sake of someone she loves.

She will do anything
Nothing is impossible
For the sake of someone she loves.

low, fast moving clouds
make me feel
like i'm standing
still on a mountain

wisps of cotton candy
and wind in my hair

there is a change in the air
a slower, colder
turning motion
all around me

my head in the sky
my feet in the sea.

Came to me in a dream,
The internet of the unconscious
the place
where dreamers flee.

As I lay down,
Eyelids shutter's close
deep dark night falls,
Into the interweave
we are delivered,
Into the collective unconscious
we go
coast to coast,
In synchronicity's archtype's flow
where all the
heroic demons and fears
dwell and go.

Awake?  A dream?
A Balinese on LSD.
The boundaries fall
as the currents of the interweave
take us all.

When we hear a voice
we look around
to
see if anyone hears it too
otherwise how are we
to know
if it's a dream or if it's true.

The interweave a current,
We only enter unconscious
or
is it
when we are fully being?

We don't know.

We are swept along
on the night riding songs,
Our voices sing in
colors vivid, strong,
Sparkling in the black sky
lightning of consciousness crackling
the thunder of life
echoes in our ears
ripping us asunder,
To emerge
on another side
in another way,
Not too different,
Not too the same,
Irreversibly changed.

Our hands we hold
as we plunge, plummet
into the white current in
the dark sky
broadcasted to
the tumbling
rotating
universe
the interweave
a transit to
anywhere
you might imagine,
Don't fear,
Courage is here.

The imagination
runs so wild
call it what we will,
When we make our return
from the interweave's
milky way,
All we will
really know
is
that
for those
deep dark nights
when the eyelids shutters' close
after connecting
to the interweave
I
with each other was
free.
This idea of the "interweave" did come to me in a dream. The internet we enter when we are all dreaming.
As I understand it, the Balinese teach that the dream world is as real as the awake world in a nightmare you can ask your pursuers for a gift.

shivered on the side of I-75 in the middle of nowhere
awaiting anything or anyone to listen
to our suffering, to warm our souls.

For, we had taken the road less travelled, and grew ourselves
an outside tough, we listened only to ancient words and hummed
and never gave a sip of life that had not been written down by an ancient
genius,
nor ever looked up to see besides the imagining
we lived.
And met you, I did, while reading, EE Cummings
you  had Emerson open.

I will see you in the field of days
in the blue or grey of thundering storms
though wild rivers change course
and I lose ground, you steadfast remain
you are the rousing dawn of birdsong
the silver sun of white light flashing
you are the wind, a whisper, a kiss
upon my face, that lifts my sullen eyes
all the tears, your infinite ocean washes away
and I am left upon the shore, where only love remains

Well this 2014 is finally drawing to a close
Looking back what do I see
Ebola
******
The massacre of innocent children
Countries where the bullet and bomb rule
In the name of religion
And yet amid the madness
The carnage
I still see beauty
Beauty in unspoiled landscapes
Beauty in a simple wild flower
I also see love
The old couple on my street
Married for over 50 years
Young mothers with young children
The old couple are content
They have lived and loved through times
Both good and bad
But the young mums and dads
With the young kids
What does 2015 hold for them?
Peace and happiness
Perhaps,
There is still beauty here but in another form
That my friends is the beauty in your written words
Words that bind ethnicity and religion
Into one family
That is our family, hellopoetry

I wish you all a safe and peaceful 2015

to limit me
embarked on a quest
to mysteriously float above
what I and all was.

With stars as illuminance
as sharks swimming in the dark
I saw a new day
remade my bounds as limitless

and grew oblivious and shrunk me
and swelled all of man and kind and
spoke of difference,
to society, not of man but philosophy.

Well
The mornings are getting lighter
Although winter hasn't yet
Reared her ugly head
But
The anticipation is there
The anticipation of warmer air
Yes birds do still sing
But with a winter sadness in their song
They know what is yet to come
Before winters bite is done
But eventually nature will play the card
Warmth once more will fight
Winter so hard
Bird song from sadness to love will sound
Fresh new shoots will spring
Forth from the land
From winters bitter death new life begins
Open wide your arms
And welcome spring

New Year's Day and I hope for you a great one.
Mine, was not the beginning I envisioned. My adopted Mom, Marge
I rushed to the hospital at twelve.
She looks like me at 6 am after my binges. Red eyed and a little smile
of I don't care anymore on her 72 year old tired face.
I got back home, not drunk enough,
and found tiny, a sweet little black kitten who strived through thinness and
stumbled around for the 10 weeks of her life, cold and still.
She still lays there.
I guess her suffering has ended.
I am still drinking down the courage and liquor to go dig the hole in the backyard. I will cry, and need the strength I find in a bottle to prepare.

My adopted pops, 82 year old cad who took people all his life, took me into his heart. He is not a red man's father except by heart and caring. He is looking so old and tired. He took me to see Marge in the ICU. And consoled me as a priest would with wisened words of time and need.

If this New Year's day is a sign of what 2015 will be like,
after three more drinks, I think,
I will go out back and dig a  hole big enough for me to crawl into and hide, until next year.
