We are but
            grains of sand
in a universe
                       of boulders.

the moon is waxing
the tide is flowing
my soul is coming into estrus

there are no answers
only decisions to be made
actions to be taken

the universe is waiting
courting my being
an invitation to expand

Time...a puzzle
   to realists and surrealists alike

Time...a puzzle
   of grand pieces
    obvious if obtuse
     obtrusive and obstructive
   laboriously laid to waste
    constructing a picture of existence
     solid yet stolid

Time...a puzzle
   of fine pieces
    subtle if sharp
     spacious and serene
   pensively placed at random
culminating in a mosaic of life
      fragmented yet feeling

Time...a puzzle of pieces
   contained within a box
   ...or...
   in a different dimension altogether...

A black and white world doesn't suit me
I have a visceral response to generalizations
that serve to minimize, demonize, marginalize

Neither can I accept an existence sheltered in grey
restrictively deliberating in the narrow space
between cautious optimism and healthy skepticism

The spectrum of possibility is infinite
when seen with an open mind and giving heart
at the risk of discovering beauty

Was it You, Last night?
Who, like a star lit my memory with light so bright
soaked me into fragrance, so rich
Was it You last night?
The music of my dreams, so beautiful, so exquisite...
And now in day light
You are gone
the light
the fragrance
the music
and You are gone...
Stay a little more my Love!

In any convergence of creative-minded people there exists a massive potential for positive change. Internet platforms included. Let's make use of this energy and bring awareness to the things we feel strongly about!

I'm asking yall to write poems about change! Social, Ecological, Cultural CHANGE! Let's address specific issues! Let's stop fracking, and plastic, and war, and hunger, and child labor, and let's free Tibet! Let's bring attention to pollution and corporate crime! Let's heal our wounds and bring our ills to the light! I know we can~

I created a collection called poets for change
please post here:

My dream of another world is not dead, yet
The blood in my veins is flowing, ever so red
Beaten, burnt, molested, abused,
but not defeated.
My soul is revived by each tear I shed
Tears are my message of defiance
and my heart beats, ever so violently
in struggle for the other world
I still think, the other world
can be...shall be..
To all women...

Kiss me hard before you go
Let me feel your electric aura
Touch the chaos that encompasses your mind
Give me one last glimpse of the fire in your eyes
One last chance to learn to feel alive
Inspired by "Summertime Sadness" by Lana Del Rey. The first line is hers.

speaking with you over the frequencies,

I often wonder what a touch could do.

would it connect me to some omnipitent source

or create an annoying buzzing tingle feeling?

I guess I dont need to find out,

but when you walk right through my soul as if its nothing

leaves me with nothing to do but,

wonder about it all.

Her fine hands are gentle
With lithe and spiny fingers
Of bone and fin.

Her eyes are opal,
Essence of emerald and topaz,
A hoard of treasure.

Her hair is sea gathering
And dances in the blue currents
Deadly as the sea snake.

Her skin is coral,
Made of mineral and sorcery,
A fatal beacon.

Her lips are urchin,
Set in a whirlpool of face,
A spiral of doom.

Her voice is dream,
Rocking the lost wrecked ships,
Ground into sand.

Her long tail is fable
Of paradise, beyond faraway seas,
Cyclones and waves.
