Faced the world today
When at first light didn't think I could

Embraced by the universe
Rewarded with a cosmic hug

Our frequencies attract
Yin and Yang
A cosmic bang
The universe
is
expanding
all
the
time
So evolving together
or
      we realign

Through sorrow
Through joy
Through quarrel
Through no hope for the morrow
Through love
Through kindness
Through natures tenderness
Through big and small
I have shed a tear
and
cried
through
them
all

There are parts of me I don't like to see
Hard to ignore
When you live consciously
Light shining on all you view and feel
Wondering if conclusions are illusions or real
Parts to work on
That is true
Commotion and emotions possessing and exorcising you

Each time the dark approaches
I have to learn to love myself in my pain
It's a lesson that plays out over and over again
Going deeper into the heart
Eye glaring out
Reversing thought and time
Being without the light
Traversing
beyond the hate

I have been tied to the stake with your love and then... I was set on fire by it. As I’m burning the pain doesn’t feel nearly as bad as when I watched you turn around and walk away.
I’m slowly burning.
Now my ashes are all that’s left of me and I am nothing and I am no one.

My staring contests with the night sky
Always result in me being homesick.
A pit deep in my stomach and I swear
I can hear
A faint laugh in the universe,
Mocking my never-ending
Expectation, that if I stare harder
That a miracle will happen.

I'm almost positive though
That it's all in my head and
Im just upset that the world keeps spinning,
Even when
Your heart begs something
To stop and
Be there for you.
