in drops and drips
her palette tips,
a mem'ry full of
kaleidoscope tricks
its tumbling skips;
this is morning glory
at their best.
once at attention
she stands now
at color-filled rest,
unfurling her glory,
tell her your story;
she’ll drink in your weeping
sharing with others
in manifold colors
all of these losses,
your sorrowful world,
spreading her palette of tears,
colors a'running astray.
those tears can't really
be wiped away;
there's more where
that came from, dear...
a boat load of color
to drown in and smother;
beauty-filled dripping,
til finally the
balance is tipping
the other way;
and for just a bit
there as she sits
the river that ran
in colorful brilliance
is dried up,
and *******,
and only then is she
able to stand up
another day.
she is mourning glory!
still here on earth,
her feet firmly planted,
but awaiting the end
of her color-filled story,
and wondering...
will she ever
again
find that treasure
she once held so close,
this side of heaven?
she may have to settle
to weep with the flowers;
passing her hours,
one sunset closer
to her forever;
her bouquet of scent
drifts away... spent,
one flower fading
slowly is trading
at color-filled dusk;
she’s mourning glory,
her colors returning
to dust.

this, these lines, are not quite as they started out,
not what i thought it was meant to be...
but then life... it never is, is it?

though effort,
       hard textures
personal failure,
         lyrical climaxes,
arbitrary closing
           the opening of
senses....

        feelings,
pain ecstasy,
              evolving,
coincide.....

to make me human...
   brings gloom
the taste of sugars
       at times
simultaneously,

my head revolving
    spins takes all of
all in.

taste it's bitter-sweet

If someone says, “And time stood still,”
Consider him an imbecile.
Time creeps, it flies, it disappears,
It changes seconds into years,
Consumes our life,
Each passing day,
And woe the soul
That’s in its way.

Time marches on, as if to war
Countless battles fought before
Why do we refuse to yield?
Lay down our helmet, sword, and shield
Is it so hard
For us to see
That time will claim
The victory?

Time overpowers the strongest men,
And laughs at those who try in vain,
To conquer time, for they will die
Not knowing when, or how, or why
Yes, we will die
While time endures
Time mourns no life
Not mine, not yours.

Time humbles strong, and kills the weak,
It laughs at those who dare to speak,
As if they understand its goal,
Time will extract its rightful toll.
No money spent
Can slow time down.
Time will have
The rich King’s crown.

Serene this eve of moonlit glow
neath star shine twinkled fall
Cicada song on whispers flow
of silhouettes a’ call

I feel the earth beneath my hand,
a drifting nocturne breeze
On river fern and willow’s stand,
past shadowed twilight trees

Yet all I see this wondrous place,
amidst of nature posed
The beauty of your perfect face
*within my eyes now closed
Twilight dreaming of you an wishing you a beautiful night

I took in heart this line,  wrote it embroidered tattooed it in memory,
saw it while, standing on my head, fixing a roof, talking on the phone ,
*******, looking out the window,
at every cloud, every smile, every glory day new.
Completely, ate it for supper, loved  hated it
swore it was blasphemy
worshipped it, tried to see it in the grass
a tome woven
a yellow stem mystery, yet, remaining there it does,
forefront. filter from your self. So wise. Such
advice, gets easier every day, seeing this quote from WW.
In the mirror forever .

"I see the beauty in the leafless trees.
I see the beauty in one wearing torn sleeves.
I see the beauty in the cancer child without hair.
I see the beauty in the legless man in his wheel chair.
I see the beauty in the homeless just sitting there.
I see the beauty in the humans that show they care.
I see the beauty in the fool on the hill.
I see the beauty in his heart praying to change the worlds will.
I see the beauty in all that see ugly.
I see the beauty in me that those who see the ugly, will never see ."
I see the beauty for one reason only. I look at life through the eyes of
Jesus. "LOVE ELIMINATES UGLY" & "UGLY CAN NEVER ELIMINATE LOVE."
The 2nd part of the eliminations of Love was given to me by my poet Brother Wolf!!!
Thank you my Friend!!!

.

When I say “I love you” loud enough
so that it echoes across the mountains
and through the valleys,
does the echo ever end
or does it keep going on forever,
just like the love
I sent to you
