you were my nicotine
fitting in and fading out
you took me by storm
i took a risk and made a home out of you
i guess i asked for it
broken ribs and bloodshot eyes
what was i suppose to do
the stars dont align
the sun doesnt shine
the bridges we built, or so i thought
seems to fall apart
you were never here but i still find pieces of you in my room
*******, i hate you
but i hate that i miss you more

The mules you wear
Are tread bare
From walking over me.
But when I'm treated
Like something you'd scrape
From the sole of your shoes,
I know it's time to walk.
But thanks for wearing flats,
Over your stilettos.

Walking on
Frozen path
Time stood still
Leads the feet
To known
Destination
Slippery proposition
Silent screams
Unsettling tales
Wooden door
Slammed years ago
Tiny slit
Does allow
Some view
Dingy rooms
Thick cobwebs
Frozen hearts
Time lost trail
Last visit
In folklores
On frozen path
No soul
Wants to return

I appreciate the sunshine
and happiness as much as you.
I've just gotta stigma on my vision,
you could say my views askew.
I can't help but see the menace
in every cloud that's floatin through.
Just can't help but get the feeling
that something wicked's coming soon.
It's a permanent disposition,
the world is twisted with a vicious hue.
It can be hard to explain,
but if anything I say is true.
With a sullied and a bitter eye,
you will surely see the world anew.

Draw a knife
Through the living,
And it bleeds.
Pull a union asunder
And there's much
Bloodletting.
The color should
Make us blush
With shame
For what we do
To the one we loved.
