When time began after the first second fell into nothingness and the world became more than a whisper, two beings met in the darkness and could not remember where they came from.
One green,
and one yellow.

Green preferred the fresh smell of the earth beneath his feet and the flow of water along his hands. Yellow preferred to give light to green, allowing him to work in peace and sending wind to wipe away any pain of toil.

Green and yellow began to grow fond of one another though and wanted more than just mutual work.
As time passed and the work of green and yellow grew beautiful in strength, their love grew more powerful and tender.

But in all their strength, they could not touch one another...
Their hands grew close but never enough to grasp one another. The light grew dim and green began to fade to brown...

...but...

When the will is strong and love gives birth in weary veins, miraculous things can happen.

In a moment of strength and the need to hold one another, green and yellow exploded in an attempt to reach each other...
and in that instant, blue was created across an endless path between them.

They both smiled and held each other softly, whispering things that mortal ears will never hear... but with the right ears you can hear their messages in the wind and the water..

So it will be until the last second stops.
When darkness is falling you can look to the west and see green meet yellow and embrace into the vast eternity.

The End.

The love between them was so very deep.
He held them with care even in his sleep
The laughters they shared were so very dear
In times of sadness he poured out every tear.

Never has anyone seen such love between a boy and his toys.
He spent much more time with them than other little girls and boys
Those toys loved the companion of their dear friend
They enjoyed each waking hours that they spent.

But an end must come to even the best of things
Those toys never again heard the little boy's cheerful greetings
Instead dreadful wheezy coughs took that place
And no more of his soft rosy face.

The toys could not understand why they played no more
They wanted to be loved again, instead they lay on the floor
Days, weeks, months went by but he only got worse
Then one day those lonely toys saw everyone weep, even the nurse

"He was such a beautiful boy!" they heard people say
Those toys did not understand, they just wanted to play
They sat waiting, waiting for that child
They wanted to see his sparkling eyes and precious little smile

That boy's unconditional love for them is what they lack
And so they kept waiting for him to come back.

Roses are red,
Violets are blue.
Life's a *****,
And so are you.
The author of this poem is my wonderful brother Gregory Gray.  (:
I'm a mere mortal,
a man looking for love.
And you are a goddess,
sent down from above.

I am the joker,
the jester, the fool.
Just some heartache,
trying to play it cool.

I am nobody,
no one, nothing.
Just another broken heart,
always running.

I am a peasant,
and you are a queen.
I beg for your love,
yet, I go unseen.

I wander and wait,
for the day you come by,
and take my hand,
ending my crusade,
for your love, which I desire.

Running through the forest,
Beyond the intruding trunks,
Over roots that reached from the soil,
I've been snapping twigs,
Only to leave a trail blood,
Staining the forest floor crimson green,

But it is his nature to go his own way,
To tear through the pain,
To become the greatest thing he can perceive,
Draining the decadence from his veins,

It isn't like he is a thief,
Just a minuscule entity,
Till he solidifies his being,
So that others can learn of him, even by turn pages on three rings,

Dripping,
Drooling,
Confident he will be confined to the history books,
Despite being destined,
Despite living with the acceptance,
Dredging the evidence,
Of being fit for a grave someday,

Staining the leaves,
We might as well strive,
To leave our mark,
To sight our sites for the sake of a dream,
Whatever helps you and me sleep,

Not seeking violence,
So bless you all,
I wish there was a god,
Because I’d pray,
I beg,
I’d follow the one who could tie the unknown fray
Uniting us all
Bring the silence to my lips,
And peace during your stay,

But demanding an almighty beacon will not help right now,
It is just us my friends,
On a world siphoned from stars,

So we must insure the change,
Because there isn't an chance a deity could save us from our social decay,
There is no need to cover up your granddad’s scars,
The pillars of our personal rise ,

Not a loss cause but on course for an evolutionary delay,
That is why he’s running through the wood,
Stumbling over roots,
Spattering chromosomes all over the place,

He's you and me,
Just sprinting through an existence,

Only to be sliced by those that brought you into this natural cage,
Captives unable to escape a fate,
Invisible stage, my arrival was set to a predetermined date,

Pleading pity, I was conceived without a say,
We must avoid those twigs they consider the vines of divinity,
To show them your just another human,
Potentially the ending to our plight through a naturally nourished might.
It's that train again
The one that takes away the pain
When you jump.

The platform flatlines
Timetable times
Appear in your head
Four thirty seven it said
It was late.

You had to go
Other things on your mind
Who was to know that trains were so kind?

On another line at another time still there
Unwilling,unable to share
And anyway nobody there if you did.
Another beat, another pump and the train's late
No jump
Not today.
You go away and get on with things
See what tomorrow brings
Maybe the sun will shine
Maybe the railway line
Will disappear.

Writing is the voice
Silence has become a choice
Work behind the scenes
Avoiding the mainstream
Chewed up spit out
Want to make it need a new way out
Told to do this
Be that doesn't matter
Not where things need to be
Don't quit never let up
Keep doing it all the haters will fade out
Believe in love those who have it appreciate it
Part of the dream all the wrongs a right
Now a days wrong is right
Doesnt make sense don't agree but respect it
The chances ruined try to steal your moment
Take what's your eventually all the bad tunes out
Happiness fades out the wrong
In the darkness where it belongs

Sometimes, but moreso often then not,
I may lay and gaze listlessly at the river.
I can decide to even ask it a question or two.
It has a metamorphosis into a loving companion,
Which has grown upon and is only within my mind,
But then it whispers back to me, whispering secrets it only knows,
This voice, murmuring it speaks lustfully of its' known truth,
T'is the sound of rain, it humbles the wind, and fire's tongue it stays,
But henceforth from here and out, t'is the bringer of pain.
It bends and contorts, riding the rocks, like painted ponies wild,
Blending colors and creating it binds the flora, in a mindless dance,
It storms over many a lands, not unlike the humans craving advances.

Although I may gaze often, silently and curious into the river,
Fleeting in the wind, holding in the breath, to turn naught a single tide.
Shall I dare take a breath, and let blood always turn through these sunken veins?
Am I absolute, and real? Perhaps I am still within my flesh, perhaps still made of bone?
Or has this body decomposed, turning into water and turning into stone?
But after a time, pondering and searching within these calmly churning waters,
I began once, wondering of who I am, and what I was supposed to be.
But what many may perhaps never ever realised, or even begun to know,
Is that the river has begun, it's own turn with the tables, turning its gaze,
And begins to watch me in return.

I watched as your face melted into the man of the moon,
I made a wish upon a star that you would watch me too.
