I just realised that it’s been a long time since I laughed.
Like a hearty, eye teary and a stomach aching laugh;

Why did I trust
Why did I believe
Why did I keep forgiving
Why did I choose you everytime
Why didn’t I know the difference
Why did I keep coming back to you

Was it to be broken and betrayed
And to feel like nothing ? ;

I don’t know why
But every time I want to write something
It’s you who comes to my mind;

Behind my smile and tears
There is something hidden real;

I know everything happens for a reason
But you make me smile for no reason;

All my thoughts die unsaid in the end;

We weren’t lovers
We weren’t haters
We weren’t friends either
But all we did was long to see each other ,just how the sun awaits the moon’s arrival;

She fell in love with everything
With the sounds
With the warmth of the sun
With the midnight thoughts
Even with the stars
When all this meant falling in love with him;

Trouble at heart
Peace of mind
Souls apart
Pieces left behind;

I had an unnecessary fear
while I saw you every time;

I went to sleep
remembering each word that you told
until it completely sank
and consumed my thoughts;

I don’t know where this leads
But I want everything to lead to you;

I would never let you know how much I cried

because of you;

I fell asleep while I was dreaming about you;

You were dusk
and I was dawn.
By fate we were torn apart;

I hear this quiet voice inside my head which fades away, strangled;

I had no reason to stay
But I was not ready to leave;

I don’t know how we ended up this twisted;

and I needed you to fight my wild side;

I needed distractions
and they have certainly kept me alive;

You said that I could never hurt you
And that broke me more ;

and yes, you were my everything;

We didn’t show
But we know ;

I lost myself somewhere between loving and losing you ;

I guess there is no way out of the mess I’ve put myself into ;

So this how we are meant to be darling;

I could never imagine how the days would be when I stop seeing you;

All night I wonder if you’re thinking about me too ;

I fought my eyes to stay awake
cause my dreams were turning into nightmares;

You are a poem that I wonder upon ;

The way you left
told me everything ;

It is not called dying
It is aching,
when you are experiencing pain ;

The fact that I’m quite and reserved doesn’t mean that I don’t notice things

I’m always hoping for that one day which is never gonna come ;

I need an endless night to think,
to breathe.
And I know that’s an eternity away,
far away from me.

I’m happy that I found you
I’m happy that you made me realize
And now I’m happy that you left ;

I met the right person at the wrong time ;

In the journey of changing my heart and way of life, I learnt to love myself ;

As I told you,
“ You are a poem that cannot be written” ;

Silence is what I want.
It’s not the noise outside
It’s the chaos inside of me.
I want it to stop ;

You just gotta love yourself and let yourself know that you are here for you, only you;

Sometimes it’s okay to be sad.
Let the sadness consume you.
There will be a time when you may run out of thoughts and be left with an empty mind ;

Sometimes we want that one person in life with whom we could share ourselves, from the good to the evil ;

I kept coming back to you
Now I realize that you weren’t sorry at all

Even when I stayed
You didn’t realize ;

Maybe I should really convince myself this time and move on ;
