America is not a police state
But they make of us enemies
Trump is no friend to me
No matter what he says on TV
The world turns on a single dime
Justice is just a lie, a passing paradigm
Laws are written for those with might
While the poor fade into endless night
They watch us from their gilded towers
Counting down our dwindling hours
They feed us lies and call it truth
While stealing the last of our youth
Their flags fly high, a hollow show
For those whose hearts they'll never know
Our voices silenced, our dreams erased
In a country they say is so great
Trump is a dictator, Newsome 2028!

Serial
Fever pitch,
Sweaty palms,
Repeated psalms

Tension high
Time, it flies
Perfect target
Rug matches carpet

Blonde and blue
If she only knew
Another notch
No other swatch
Colors match
One more drink down the hatch

I stab and laugh
She screams and gasps
Air leaves her lungs
I laugh, having fun

There’s a lower low
In the spiral steps I tow
Down and abound
Surrounded by shroud and sound

“Another one down, another one bites the dust. “
i love shows about serial killers. I wanted to be like the people in the show Mindhunter, but I think being an advocate for people accused of a crime is more my speed. i hope to pass the bar!

Ink Blots
Two hops in a skip,
A penny lost in a fish.
There are bad men at work today,
Stay away from the parks.
Close up houses after dark,
You may hear the song of a shark,
But understand no singing birds.
It will save you from the wolf's curse.

There's evil here,
I can smell it.
Some of them swear to tell the truth,
Yet allude even a morsel of their roots.

Some whine about demons and angels,
Wrapped in their manipulations and handles,
All to find a way to enter your sanctuary.

Two hops in a skip,
Time passes in a blip.
Don't veer off course in your vessel,
Hide away until the danger dies.
