हमारे नक्स-ए-पा
गर मिल ही जायें
तुम चले आना।

खौफ़-ए-पुर
दस्त-ओ-सहरा से
कहीं तुम हो नही जाना।।

ना जाने कब से
मुन्तज़िर है दिल
दीदार-ओ-वस्ल का।

रंज़-ओ-ग़म
अपने अता कर के  
मुहब्बत साथ ले जाना।।

दिल-ए-नादां जो संभाले
से सम्भल गया होता।
ग़म-ओ-दुश्वारी-ए-दामन से
कब का निकल गया होता।।

ऐसी तन्हाइयां कहाँ मिलती
तब कारवाँ-ए-इश्क़ में।
आगाज़-ए-मोहब्बत में
गर ना फ़िसल गया होता।।

we could respect those around us,
while respecting ourselves.
we could love each other with trust,
but not until we fall in love with ourselves
do you trust yourself?
because self love is more than bubble baths and buying things
take a walk with yourself, and have long conversations
ponder on the meaning of life and slow dance with yourself
fall in love with you & let's be truthful
because before anyone else can wrap their arms around you
before anyone else can call you beautiful
you have to learn it before they do
