evolve consciously
and enjoy the day!!

A Poet’s voice is…
mountain moving thunder
when their world is threatened

A Poet’s heart is…
submissively tempered
beating love under any pressure

A Poet’s pen
can lift the world
higher and brighter
in different hues and views
of the changing skies

A Poet can fly!

Indeed my dear friend,
I can see your skin is gold…
I’ve no need to hold that in consciousness,
the human spices is what I know.

Life’s Loki is only having fun
still the father love’s everything we’ve done
Justifying our misfit wayward archetypes
everything in the shadows
is always brought to light

Circadian woke in rhythm
the tide rolled in at dawn
In the octave of momentum
the artist wrote his song

Life is getting better
faces wearing smiles
love spreading farther
turning up the dials

Beyond judgment I look
I lift up the killer and crook
all this darkness deceives
with fear you’re never free!

Did you do the work,
get your train on track?
Hearts get burnt out
That’s just a fact.

Did you learn to swim
in the deeper end
Did you trust the hands
that let you go?
Relax…
Panic rewires the venerable!

Will you face some more
with head held high?
peace is a war
fought inside
……………..

This day I face myself
Fear is an illusion
I refuse to imagine some doom
I refuse to **** our conclusion

Through the force of good
I recognise all faces
Fear not for our human death
will only change us.

I am safe within this moment
I invite you to feel as calm
pay no attention to all the chaos
the collective’s fear is strong!

Us creatives have the task
of invoking our higher selfs
learn to sing in higher octaves
distribute our supplemental wealths

The pass is but a thought
the future we must imagine
I will channel my energy
in a moment of loving compassion

Would you eat
something called
a chicken dumping?
Well I use to,
three older brothers and a sister
I ate mostly dumplings!

Don’t bother writing a book
change will only render it obsolete
Once I thought I understood
the true role of poetry…

Time is as swift as sand
We grab and hold the beach
falling through our fingers
these foolish fales beliefs…

Take comfort in your love
and watch your spirit grow
Our poetry is but a diary
of our ever changing roles…

Love is the acceptance
of the divine!
Fear claims more fear.
(That little voice
whispering
in your other ear)
The true self expresses
in the eternal now,
And so blessed are those
poetically endows!

was but a spark
of all that exist

Your secret pain

Getting me out of my own way
isn’t ever easy..
My ego is rather big
and mostly greedy…
Feed me more
cry’s out my empty core
On and on I fight
this losing finite war…

I’m sorry to see
you’re falling apart
It could be different you know
We could strive to make things better
  Reimagine our roles…
These dreams manifest themselves
in clusters of agreements
Sort them out and sigh…
Accept the moment
and in the light you’ll receive it
Catch ahold and fly!

I’d like that to be true
but there’s always a test
The shadow of my doubt
nevertheless
…..

The truthful face
can hardly shine
programmed in fear
denying divine

I see my shadow
in lost and broken souls
we are equally paired
as we play these humanistic roles

These patchworks of poetic words
shall keep our centenarian warm
when the long winter settles in
we’ll finally be safe
from the restless summer storms

So hang in there Poets
and keep writing!

It appeared to be true
all the pieces seemed as if they fit
we were all in agreement
our rules served the greater good
oh how those ethnic standers lifted us!

Now it postoperative time!

They love me
Because I’m me!
But what if…
I was no longer me?
Do you think
anybody would notice
the protagonist in there
dream…

We hide them in shadows
our unspoken truths
thing we’re in agreement with
the devils we approve

exposure comes
as the sky opens up
slight of sleeves
is brought to the cuff

no escaping society norms
a patch of cosmic clouds become
a down pouring karmic storms

I’m not here to warn you
or soothe an unjust belief
we are at the precipice
of a change we’re going to need
……

Fear is its own kingdom
separate from god’s
when I hear
what those fearers
have to convey
I simply smile
and nod
and go god’s way!

Through these eyes of love
I strain to see
those outside my visionary…
My anger is a pest I swat and shoo
buzzing around this eternal fool….
Fear I fight as an unacceptable flight
there’s no room for hate
in this momentary life…
Open minded I listen well
to what the spirits have to tell…
I attempt to rise above
the narratives of push and shove…
and so I exist “mostly” in a state of love!

I’m not a guru
nor a teacher
I’m only a light
when you’re feeling
dark and cold!

An agreement of sort
nowhere before we begun
the promise of new days
in the setting of the suns

an internal pledge
a chosen vessel formed
fear sticks in the spoke
the riders has been warned

separation the grand illusion
a denial of the source
along comes a low resonation
from peace and love to war

realization of meaning sparks
a bright blazing torch
illuminating higher thoughts  
an agreement of sort

While free climbing
life’s jagged ledge
I lost hold and fell
to my death
is was at the bottom
that I came alive
don’t let this world
confuse you
life never dies

We are not truly the light
if we hold others
in darkness

I tend to dimly shine

I sorely perceived
my past miss deeds
unsteadily I crawled
up off of bent knees
the road was hard
gravity strong
pulling me down
where I believed
I belonged

addictions still lingers
truth’s a higher place
living the victim role
is a detour to grace
the shadow of death
beckon the weak
life is to treacherous
go back to sleep

I’ve come to far
to throw in the towel
I’ll get this right
and help you tomorrow!

An open mind?
is not enough
let our heart’s
  search out love…

the lower self
advocates fear
our egos vibrates
  low down here…

how we serve
is our choice
let our divinity
   be our voice…

there is always
more to learn
enlightenment is not
the final term…

songs can be sung
in any key
in a scale of notes
of war and peace…

This may read
something like a rant
I wouldn’t talk in rhymes
but you know I can’t…
I can’t move my eyes
until the end of the maze
what’s happening over there
always happens that way…
you can’t hurry
the expressionism
poetry isn’t based
in professionalism…
so take your time
try to make since

Somewhere there has to be
a window left ajar
an unlocked door
a spaceship bound for Mars

beyond these crystallized values
these ceilings of sophistication
beyond these solid grounds
of miss interpretations

I can not fit in
these ranks reject my views
no one wants to know
the reality I can prove

not within this human zoo

Let the Weeping Willow weep
there can be no resolve
in her swinging swaying feats
your words may falter
so just let her sleep

The truth is…
I am penniless
I live in a small barn
in my girlfriends back yard
no running water
she lets me use her hose
I run her farm for my stay
I do own a F-150 2010 truck
she keep insurance on it for me
I spent most of my adult life in prison
people fear ex-convicts
so I have limited friends

I am the less of us
I can’t afford to donate money to Hellopoetry

Did you think differently?
well I am rich
I have love
it is all I care about
I am 59 in great health
I lift weights, run and study daily

When white lies trickle
into my speech
I hold my tongue

the narrator past
obviously his suffering

no one bullied me
they helped me forged a man
into a lover of life

My body's getting older
I'm timeless trapped inside

a balance in my nature

How can one know
the creative soul
Do you so love this world
nature composed?

Can we be sure
our words are pure?
did they come from the heart
emotionally stirred.

What guides these courses
of runaway horses?
these stallions on parade
I do believe we’re special
being chosen as vessel’s
forging a better new way!

It open some of my deepest wounds
Loss of freedom in a dreadful tomb
Days gone by in a hazy blur
Doom and indignity
evenly paired…

My love is quite attractive
I gather new friends like flies
don’t try an shoo them off of me
it would only make me cry.

My love has no limits
no hate can make it die.
I’ve already forgiven you
for punching me in that eye.

My love come from nowhere
invisible to short sights..

wretchedness
of a superficial
social set
of decencies
Wrings out

family of hippies

unrecognized
the ones deemed
the wishy-washy

annually my people
the creatives
get together
rockabilly, blues
folk, jazz and soul
tie dye and feathers
the goddess so loved
the grove this year
she showered us
in sweet summer’s
sunny starry weather

Arms open wide
as wide as our minds
wider then the sky
creatives
lovers of life
music magic
free of strife

Artist mirrors
a larger truth
allowing
the aesthetics
of all souls
to renew!

I sang my songs
and cast my spells
I basked in the love
that heals all hell!

I bid farewell
my closest kin
until our flames
shall gather again!

My spirituality clashes
with my logic
my intellect rendered
me eternally agnostic

Soulfully
my logic allowed some relief
From the mind set of atheism
life’s greatest thief!

Mostly I believe
that love is all we will ever need!
to know of god’s plans
for a mindful over thinking
Humanity!
