I don't really know how to write poetry
I don't really like showing my emotions
So I guess I'll try my best
Because honestly, I'm just going though the motions

I felt like nothing was changing
Day after day
Of school
Sadness
Anxiety

Then I look up at the clouds
I looked at them for a while
And I saw that they were moving

Please
Take me with you
At least for a ride..

and we’re running out of dreams
to usher
into
being
at the edge of this here parkinglot .

at the top
of the
hill

and
the tip
of the
tongue

it’s all roll into neutral from here -
       go easy on the breaks .

i’m trying so hard to be okay

I might close my eyes
Let darkness consume my world
Please… just take me home
