Dying Love

His love beggars belief
Even in the heart of the crowd
Even if the mountains bow down
And even if the seas give way to the ground.

Every leaf of the tree of life
Tells me to reconcile
But as an innocent woman
I assumed I'm picking each leaf as petals
Of a rose,
Of a dying rose
A dying love.

I saw you yesterday
Smiling from ear to ear
You were so happy
Because you were with her.

My tears cascaded from my face
The hue of my eyes lost its vibrance
All because you;
You were happy with her.
You are happy. You are.

I wasn't your happiness
I finally realized that
The moment I saw you
Pierced my heart like a million solid dust.

In the morning I shed tears,
In the night, the skies cry for me
I always end up broken
But you came and fixed me.

You came to fix me
But broke me into million more
You left
And I was alone again.

But I am still hoping,
Hopelessly hoping for you to come back
What a funny situation
For your heart turned into rock
I was not loved by you.

The outdated young lady confronted me with disgraceful taste of words
She spit slithering words as if they're to choke me to death
Her whispers were evil to them
As she throws dagger curses on me

Her burning eyes full of rage and dismay
Made me laugh till my eyes shed tears
She was cruel, and so I was
But she hasn't moved on, while I already did.

Her boyfriend who was once mine was claimed by another woman
It was funny to be caught in a four-people relationship
The guy was obscenely ugly
Yet his eyes, his tantalizing eyes were claiming our souls.

The third party, or the fourth party
Slithered her way to my system
While making me dysfunctional,
She armed herself with stupidity.
So she lost the lousy game of jealousy.

Rights

Who has the rights?
Is it me, the legal girlfriend
Or is it you, the third party?
It happened so long ago,
What has gotten into you?

You slapped me with lies
Saying he's not yet over you
If he'll lose you, he dies
Does that concern me too?

I wipe the tears!
Overcome the fears,
From turbulent to calm,
My life steers!

I let the things go
Let the life flow,
From the dark to a spark,
The life gets a glow!

I forgive!
The gratitude I give,
From gloom to bloom,
I begin to live!

I forget!
And having no regret,
From messed to blessed,
Now the life is great!

I pray!
At the end of the day,
From painful to blissful,
The life finds a way!
Wrote something after a while...somehow had writers block...now back with same genre! Just wrote!

Not forgotten

I'm alone in a world I don't understand.
As
Politicians line their pockets with the graves of our young women and men.
When will it all
end
My brother a
Marine lies in a grave
As the rain washes it away
Just a number
Another body
For the politicians to line their pockets with.

A simple fact.

not one remembers
His name.
