Nayi gamo da so, boyayye
Har a cikin raina, ya baibaye
A cikin zuciya ya kanainaye
Ya cike gurbin can da na boye

Nayi nutso cikin tafkin Soyayya
Na rasa kaina cikin kokon zuciya
Dama zaki bani yarda a samaniya
Da na zama sarki ke ko sarauniya

He is my hero in the winter.
My role model in the summer.
My bravery in the spring season.
My conqueror in the fall season.
He is my dad and my total life.

He gave me life when I was dead.
He gave me health when I was sick.
He fed my life when I am hungry.
He filled me with the light of knowledge.
He filled my heart with love and fairness.

He is my bright, sunny days in life.
He is the energy source I am gaining.
He is my beloved mentor everywhere.
And he is more than a betterment of all.
He is my power, my love, and my dad.

This is exactly one year since you left us. Dear Father, we wish you a successful afterlife.
And we pray that our final breath will be tasty.
