The throne of Lies
They promise change with folded hands,
Smiling under posters bright as betrayal,
Speech echo in the air-
Loud, Grand, Hollow
Truth lost in piles of garlands and currency notes.

The poor waits in queues,
Not for justice,
But for ration that rarely arrives;
Bridges are broke before they are built
But contracts signed in backroom,
With silent nods and heavy envelopes.

Votes are bought,
News are sold,
But the truth-
Edited out to scandal too risky to air.

Ministers built their statues,
Hold meetings with ambassadors,
While the Farmers hang from trees,
Where no one mourns.

They chant "Bharat Mata ki Jai",
But ignore the daughter who walks miles,
For Water,
For School,
For Hope.

We are told to believe,
To clap,
To cheer,
But some of us are done being fooled.

The Constitution offers justice,
But they deny their own promises.
Ignoring every proof-
Buried beneath their speeches and slogans.

But Truth cannot stay locked away,
It shines through night and breaks the day,
The throne of lies will lose its might,
When justice stands and shows the light

Whispers of my heart
Thank you to the eyes for showing the sun rise,
But sorry for ending of with late night cries.

Thank you to the brain were all my memories lies,
But sorry for being so pressurized.

Thank you to the skin for making my organs safer,
But sorry for ending up using like paper.

Thank you to the heart for showing right track,
But sorry for ending up with many crack.

Thank you to the years for letting me hear,
The beautiful music of nature so clear.
But sorry for making them endure,
Criticism that was too severe.

Thank you to my soul, so kind and so true,
Born with love, with a heart that grew,
But sorry for letting others take,
More than I ever even known.

These are not just words of mine,
But a feeling of every depressed soul left behind.

Change
The one who is cold was the most cheerful,
They gave warmth to everyone else- until no one left any for them.

The one who is now rude was once the most polite,
They stayed kind to long in places that never returned it.

The most heartless was once the kindest person ever known,
But  kindness without care broke them more ever than cruelty have done.

The one who are silent aren't weak,
Time will make them better speak.
Steel waters hold storm while,
Quiet once carry revolution.

The one who cares a lot-
It's because she received short.
Her heart grows heavy with the love-
She is been waiting for.

Time did not change them suddenly-
But pain did, silence did, being unheard did.

So before you judge who they became.....
Try to understand the reason behind them.

Still Bound
They say,
A girl belongs at home-
Learn to cook,
Not to dream.
Don't fly too high,
What will people say?

She's married before she's grown,
A child holding another child,
Who haven't even known,
Why a mother is called so.

Her books replaced with bangles,
School replaced with in-laws home,
Teacher replaced with husband barely known,
Limited to cook, not to dream.

They chant caste like a curse,
As if birth decides worth.
They build temple for goddesses,
But beat the women,
Who are an incarnation of same goddess.
They worship the goddess with flowers and gold,
But still Bound with the dowry which is now old.

This the dark reality of a society,
Who is modern outside,
But narrow minded inside.

The silent spark
I sit with stars no one can see,
Dreaming roads that set minds free.
In halls of noise, I speak so low,
But in my heart, whole forests grow.

They say "Be still, Stay in your place",
But I see planets, time and space.
They don't see how I light the dark-
A quiet kid with a silent spark.

No one listens, No one stays,
Yet I keep building in my ways.
With every 'no', I write my song,
Because in dreams, I do belong.

One day they'll see the things I made,
The lights I sparked, the roads I paved.
And though today I stand alone,
My spark is small- but fully grown.
