Barren desert lays
Bathing in the golden sun
The brown sand is warm

My vision is blurred
Can't think clearly anymore

I was a deep purple
Shy and kept to myself
Always thinking,
Imagining

Then I met you,
A bright, vivid green
So lively and hopeful
Always talking

Together, we were perfect
Yet we're
Complete opposites

Then I tried to mix us together
I thought we'd be perfect

But...

We became
a muddy
desaturated
mess

The thought of you and I together

I imagined it so much it felt more like a memory

It felt like reality

But I know it was just imaginary

It's like you're missing from my life

A dream that faded away

A virus that plagued my mind
Now nothing more than a memory
