I have waited for you
right from being a small bud to
a beautifully blossomed flower
I fell in love with you
even before you were my lover
I allowed you
to consume,
to pollinate
my sugar rich nectar
But please do not
consume all the richness in me
and leave me to fall on the ground to wither
Let the wind ******* away,
before i die and fall on the ground
and let my petals spread
my beauty all around
