shifting grey shadows
ominous morning looms low
troubles to follow
I was handed
   a glass full of life
And begged to
   to partake

To drink up
   he drunk
To swallow
   and forget
the strife

Instead of
   sweet dreams
Swilling concepts
   sprung to life

The more swill
    I swallowed
The tighter
    the grasp
I would yield

The pressure
    so great
The glass shattered
    life spilled

The blood
    gushed
But it was
    a relief

Just a pain
    I could understand
Something real
    I could handle

Ciel Noir
see the Moon shine in the north
eerie place
another world
planets circle the horizon
jewels in the crown of the Earth

no day
only night
but now

I see the Sun set in reverse
strange dawn
lights the mountains and glaciers
rose
it glows like hope
rebirth

The same corner bends beneath us.

The ground gives, then takes,

like it knows we will fall again.

We call it learning,

but the sky calls it forgetting.
Last week before Christmas holidays, can't wait.

Maddy
Cold and cloudy
Yet Blue birds landed in great flocks
Squirrels came  out of nowhere
Enticing smells
Delicious shelled roasted unsalted nuts
So quietly the human watched as tney munched and devoured quietly
